She / Her / Hers
Hi, I’m Tina Manning (she/her), Clinical Director and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor
If you’re here, you might be looking for support—maybe life feels overwhelming, anxiety won’t loosen its grip, or old trauma is resurfacing and making it hard to move forward. You’re not alone. My work focuses on helping clients navigate anxiety, trauma, OCD, parenting challenges, and life transitions with more clarity, compassion, and confidence.
I work with teens and adults, and many of my clients identify as neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, or are parents trying to support their own children through tough emotional terrain. I show up in the therapy room as my full self: I’m a parent, proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, and I know firsthand how important it is to feel truly seen and supported.
I am committed to social justice and advocating for human rights. My goal is to create a safe and inclusive space where all individuals are valued and respected. I want to learn from YOU about your unique experience and perspectives.
At the heart of our work will be self-compassion, curiosity, and change rooted in your values.
My clinical toolkit includes:
- EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) — EMDRIA trained
- Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) — a gold standard treatment for OCD
- SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) — a parent-based approach to helping anxious kids
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — supporting values-based living and psychological flexibility
In therapy, we’ll start by building a foundation of self-understanding and self-compassion. From there, we’ll work toward the changes you want to see—whether that’s managing anxiety, healing from trauma, showing up more fully in relationships, or parenting with more confidence and calm. Humor is welcome in my sessions when the time is right—because healing is serious work, but that doesn’t mean we can’t laugh along the way. I truly believe in doing more of what lights you up, and together we’ll work toward a life that feels meaningful and true to you.
Outside the therapy room, you’ll likely find me:
- Hanging out with family, friends, and my three sweet (and spoiled) dogs
- Rolling dice in a game of Dungeons & Dragons or Dead of Winter
- Reading—either therapy books or gloriously ridiculous fiction
- Enjoying a good cup of rooibos tea and some introvert daydreaming time
If you think we might be a good fit, let’s connect! I offer a free 10–15 minute phone consultation to help you get a feel for what working together might be like.
