She/HER
I believe our stories, even the challenging ones, can be powerful starting points for growth and resilience. My own journey through a tough childhood taught me the value of leaning
into authenticity, letting go of shame, and using life’s experiences to build strength. That’s
what drives me to help kids and families find their own paths to healing.
I love connecting with children, tuning into their needs, and understanding the “whys”
behind their behaviors. Kids have an incredible inner wisdom, and I’m here to help them tap into it, whether that’s through exploring their interests, building insight, or finding fun, creative ways to manage big feelings. For parents I understand it can be hard to know how
to navigate challenges or deepen your connection with your child. I’m a problem-solver at
heart, and I enjoy brainstorming workable, playful strategies with families to create lasting
change and stronger bonds, all without judgment.
My approach is to build an authentic, trusting relationship where kids and families feel truly
heard. I join children in their world, using their strengths and interests to make therapy fun
and meaningful. Whether it’s through art, play, or out-of-the-box ideas, I tailor sessions to fit
each child’s unique needs. I want you to feel like we’re in this together, collaborating to help your child grow confident in who they are.
I bring a mix of creative and evidence-based tools to the table, like techniques in art
therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
(CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness, and
body-based approaches. As a certified Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) provider, I use polyvagal-informed listening to support emotional regulation, sensory processing, and social engagement, especially for kids with trauma, ADHD, Autism, or similar experiences.
I’m especially passionate about working with neurodivergent kids and their caregivers. With
years of experience supporting clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities, I
strive to create a space where every child and family feels understood, supported, and
hopeful. My practice is person-centered and collaborative, celebrating each person’s
authentic self.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me outside hiking, walking, or just soaking in nature. I’m a
big animal lover and find joy in caring for my aquarium. I’m also always creating, doodling,
crafting, or trying a new art project. I grew up with a deep curiosity about people and earned
my Masters in Social Work from Western Carolina University. Now, as a Licensed Clinical
Social Worker Associate, I’m thrilled to focus on what I’ve always loved: supporting kids and families.
It would be a privilege to join you and your child on this journey, helping them shine in their
emotional well-being. Let’s work together to build a warm, nurturing space for growth and
connection. I’m excited to be on your team!
